Edward Drangle

Edward Drangle - RPT, STS

Edward L. Drangle is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He is currently licensed with the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy, and is an IWA Certified Strength Training Specialist. Since 1995, Edward has had an Independent Private Practice in Little Rock, Arkansas, specializing in fitness for Active Older Adults. Since 2001, he has also served as Functional Training Specialist and Partner with Senior Living Design Consultants in Little Rock. SLD Consultants designs Wellness Centers for Senior Living Communities nationwide.

Edward has also written several articles on the importance of fitness for Assisted Living Success Magazine including "What will Functional Exercise Do For Me" that was featured as a web exclusive in the January 2003 issue. He has also been featured in a series on PAX TV demonstrating his functional fitness program for active adults. He is currently teaching workshops for fitness trainers and physical therapists on the practical application of functional fitness. His fitness-training program for seniors is nationally certified. He has worked with the Arkansas Department of Health and the Arkansas Division of Aging and Adult Services to provide fitness workshops for seniors.

Beginning his career in California, Edward established private practices at the Orthopedic Back Clinic of Santa Monica (1979-1980), The Orthopedic Clinic of San Fernando Valley (1980-1981), Integrated Rehab Services of Marina Del Rey (Director 1982-1987), and at Jackson-Souza's Crosstraining Center in Malibu (1988-1989). During this time, his clients included Michael Landon, Howie Long, Pierce Brosnan, Rob Lowe and James Whitmore to name a few. In 1990, he established an Independent Private Practice at the Arkansas Chiropractic and Physical Therapy Center in Little Rock. Edward served as Director of Physical Therapy for Arkansas Sports Medicine in Little Rock from 1994 to 1997. From 1968 through 1985, Edward competed in multiple Olympic style and Powerlifting Weightlifting competitions; winning awards in Illinois, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and California State Weightlifting Competitions.

  • 3 or More Sessions per week $50.00 ea

Physical Therapy
